Emerson Development is a technology development and licensing organization. We create or enhance technologies, particularly relating to computers, software, the Internet, and telecommunications, and build value through Intellectual Property protection.
Emerson Development seeks to establish technology licensing agreements with business partners from the respective industry segments to market products and services based on our proprietary technologies.
NEWS -
We recently sold three of our earlier patents relating to improvements in FM broadcasting and FM receivers - a pleasant surprise considering we had moved on to other technologies quite a while ago. Those patents are: 6,411,800, 6,404,408, and 5,842,119.
Current Technology Highlights
- Merging the Internet and Telecommunications networks. This outstanding technology is the ultimate convergence of the worlds of the phone and the computer -- a merger that combines the best of both, and enables MultiMedia visual telephony having all the graphical features characteristic of the Internet. This technology has the potential to initiate a wholesale replacement of the entire embedded base of telecommunications equipment -- the economic potential of this technology is breathtaking.
- “The Notary” -- a solution to Internet spam e-mail. The Notary not only stops spam from coming to your inbox, but stops it at the source, eliminating the flood of junk e-mail traffic that dominates the e-mail system, and relieving e-mail servers of 90% of their load.
- Computer keyboard enhancements -- updates the standard Selectric typewriter keyboard design of the pre-mouse era to accommodate present-day usage patterns -- changes that should have been made with the introduction of the mouse. These enhancements provide greater ease-of-use with only minor modifications to the standard keyboard design, and solve the annoying problem of inadvertently typing in ALL CAPS.
